Stephen Curry has Earned the Right to Get More Calls in his Favor

Despite scoring 34 points in a game one 106-99 victory Saturday over the New Orleans Pelicans, league MVP Stephen Curry was knocked around quite a bit and didn’t receive many calls. curry2

At Sunday’s practice, Curry showed off his many scabs and bruises.

Curry had this to say of the non-calls,

“I’ve got a couple of scabs, but I’ve got a lot of real estate left for the rest of the series. Hopefully, I’ll get some calls. … I’m not going to get into it. I’m just going to play basketball.”

Don’t you think Curry has earned the right to get some calls like star players do? Supposedly, Curry went to one of the officials to show blood was dripping down his forearm.

The Warriors went 67-15 during the regular season and led the league in wins by a seven-game margin. Curry is one of the favorites to win league MVP honors after average 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game. He is extremely entertaining to watch and is difficult to guard. Let’s hope he gets the calls he deserves throughout the playoffs so we can see the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

And that’s as I see it!
